When a turbocharger shows vibration, noise, oil leaks or falling boost, the choice is usually between a cartridge (rotor and bearing group) exchange and a full overhaul.
A cartridge exchange suits you when
- The casings are sound and the problem is in the rotor or bearings.
- Downtime must be short. A cartridge swap is quicker than a full strip.
A full overhaul suits you when
- Casings, nozzle ring or diffuser show damage or heavy fouling.
- The unit has run long past its service interval.
In both cases, balance and inspection records matter. Ask for them. Send us the turbocharger type and serial number, and we will tell you what we can supply: cartridge, wear parts or complete unit.
